Zach Bogosian and his Buffalo Sabres teammates want to make sure you respect the unwritten rules of Kan Jam.
The Sabres defenseman's Bogo Bunch Foundation, his Buffalo-based charity, is hosting a "Jam Kancer in the Kan" fundraiser March 10 at KeyBank Center following the Sabres 1 p.m. game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Lucky participants who sign up for the event will get the chance to participate in a Kan Jam tournament against Bogosian and some of his teammates.
Bogosian and his buddies made an funny instructional video in order to prep any of the uninitiated in the ways of Kan Jam, the frisbee disc game popular at tailgate or outdoor parties.
Proceeds will benefit Buffalo's Roswell Park Cancer Institute, one of the leading cancer centers in the country.
Other NHL players, including New York Rangers defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and New York Islanders forward Anders Lee , are also hosting "Jam Kancer in the Kan" events in February.
Bogosian and his wife, Bianca, started the Bogo Bunch Foundation in 2015 to honor the memory of Zach's grandmother, Armen, who passed away in 2013 after battling lymphoma.
