Bubnick scores twice to lead the Hitmen past the Blades 6-2 @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Jimmy Bubnick scored twice as the Calgary Hitmen beat the Saskatoon Blades 6-2 Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Joey Kornelsen, Brooks Macek, Spencer Humphries and Greg Chase also scored for Calgary (13-10-2).

Connor Cox and Jesse Paradis scored for Saskatoon (18-7-1).

Brandon Glover made 34 saves for the win while Andrey Makarov stopped 31 shots in defeat.

The Hitmen scored twice on five power-play opportunities while the Blades went 0-for-5.

The victory snapped Saskatoon's eight-game winning streak.
