Bryzgalov, Anderson and Ovechkin named NHL's three stars of the week @NHLdotcom

NEW YORK - A pair of goaltenders for upstart teams and a familiar face fill out the NHL's three stars of the week.

Ilya Bryzgalov of the Phoenix Coyotes was named the top star after posting a 3-0-0 record. He had a minscule 0.95 goals-against average and .959 save perctage in those games, helping the surprising Coyotes improve their record to 5-2-0.

Colorado Avalanche goalie Craig Anderson was given the second star while Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals took home the third star.

Anderson recorded four consecutive road victories and had a 2.20 GAA and .928 save percentage. He was also the NHL's second star in the opening week of the season.

Ovechkin was the first star that opening week and has continued his fine play since. The Capitals star led all scorers last week with six points (4-2) and helped his team move into first place in the Southeast Division.
