Brunner, Devils agree to terminate contract: report

Forward Damien Brunner cleared unconditional waivers and his contract was mutually terminated by the New Jersey Devils on Friday, according to Northjersey.com.

Brunner then signed a contract with HC Lugano in Switzerland, Northjersey.com reported.

Brunner had two goals and seven points in 17 games this season for the Devils. The 27-year-old has 25 goals and 58 points in 121 games over three NHL seasons with the Devils and Detroit Red Wings.
