THIS WEEK'S NEWS, NOTES AND NUMBERS…
STAT OF THE WEEK:Entering the 2018 playoffs, the Bruins had four players on their roster without any playoff experience (Danton Heinen, Jake DeBrusk, Matt Grzelcyk and Ryan Donato), while 10 players have played over 50 playoff games (Zdeno Chara, Brian Gionta, Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Rick Nash, Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid,David Backes, Tommy Wingels and Tuukka Rask). Those 10 players (823 total games) have more playoff experience than the entire Toronto Maple Leafs roster combined (651 games).
QUOTE OF THE WEEK:"Expectations? We want to win. We've put ourselves in a position with 15 other teams. We deserve to be here, and hopefully we can continue to move forward. You've got to play your best hockey. The opponent wants to win as badly as you do, so you've got to go out and put forth your best effort to try and get it done. And, generally, over the course of seven games, the better team wins." -Don Sweeney
TWEET OF THE WEEK (WEEK 31):@HackswithHaggs (Joe Haggerty, NBC Sports Boston): If Sean Kuraly is scoring goals & celebrating his butt off, then it must be the playoffs for the Bruins.

HONORABLE MENTIONS: @\TyAnderson (Ty Anderson, WEEI): Marchand-Bergeron are a cheat code.
@GlobeKPD (Kevin Dupont, Boston Globe): Kissing, at this hour, is not considered reviewable for potential NHL supplemental discipline. But, it's Marchand, so stay tuned.
@AmalieBenjamin (Amalie Benjamin, NHL.com): Brad Marchand got to lead stretch at the end of practice, and then got a hug from Bergeron, so his day is going just dandy.
