MARCHAND, RASK SELECTED TO 2017 ALL-STAR GAME: The National Hockey League announced on January 10 that Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchandand goaltender Tuukka Rask have been selected to the 2017 NHL All-Star Game. This is the first All-Star Game selection for both Marchand and Rask. Marchand, 28, leads the Bruins in points this season with 15 goals and 23 assists for 38 points in 45 games, to go along with 42 penalty minutes and a plus-five rating. Rask, 29, is tied for first in the NHL in shutouts (5), third in the NHL in goals against average (1.95), tied for third in the NHL in wins (21) and seventh in the NHL in save percentage (.926) this season.

The B-Fit Team will be traveling to Burlington, MA for another School Assembly Program powered by B-Fit visit on January 17. Led by Bruins Foundation Director of Health, Fitness, and Wellness, John Whitesides, and the B-Fit Team, Memorial Elementary School will learn about nutrition and getting out and moving by engaging in interactive activities for the 45-minute program. Each school participating in the School Assembly Program powered by B-Fit will also receive a full set of Bruins Bauer Street Hockey gear for free.
