Bruins try for 10 in a row on busy Wednesday @NHLdotcom
The Boston Bruins have followed an up-and-down October with a perfect November. They'll try to keep it that way Wednesday night.

The Bruins take a nine-game winning streak into their game in Buffalo, one of 13 Thanksgiving Eve contests on the NHL schedule. Not only have the Bruins won their last nine, they haven't even allowed a goal in their last two -- including Monday night's 1-0 shutout in Montreal. The Sabres have been off since a 4-2 loss to Phoenix last Saturday.

The Bruins-Sabres game is one of seven that gets under way at 7 p.m. ET.

Columbus, a 4-1 winner against Calgary on Monday, goes for a season-high third straight win against New Jersey. The Devils are back home after a 4-3 loss at Florida on Monday. Philadelphia, a 4-2 home loser to Carolina on Monday, visits the New York Islanders. St. Louis, coming off a 3-2 home loss to Los Angeles on Tuesday, is at Pittsburgh for Sidney Crosby's second game after missing more than 10 months with a concussion. Crosby's return on Monday was a smashing success -- he had two goals and a pair of assists in a 5-0 win against the Islanders.

Also, Winnipeg opens a road trip in Washington, Montreal visits Carolina in a game that can be seen in Canada on RDS and Calgary is at Detroit, where the Red Wings are home after capping a West Coast trip with a 4-2 win at Anaheim on Sunday. The Flames and Wings can be seen in Canada on TSN.

A half-hour later, Florida hosts the New York Rangers, who've been off since a 4-0 loss at Montreal on Saturday. At 8 p.m. ET, Nashville will try to bounce back from Tuesday's 6-2 home loss to Edmonton when it visits Minnesota.

The Kings will try to make it two wins in as many nights when they visit Dallas at 8:30 p.m. ET. A half-hour later, Phoenix is back home after ending a five-game trip with a 4-3 loss at Washington on Monday to host Anaheim.

Vancouver is at Colorado in a game that begins at 9:30 p.m. ET, and at 10:30, the Chicago Blackhawks will try to bounce back from Saturday's 9-2 rout in Edmonton when they visit San Jose. The Sharks are back home after a 4-1 win at Colorado on Sunday.
