BOSTON - The Bruins equipment staff will have no shortage of adjustments to make on Tuesday when the Black & Gold arrive back at the rink.
The helmets will fit a bit too loose on top of the players' heads after the Bruins participated in the 10th Annual 'Cuts for a Cause' Monday afternoon to raise money to fight pediatric cancer.

The entire Bruins roster participated and most had their heads shaved by some lucky fans and auction winners during the event hosted by Patrice Bergeron and 98.5 The Sports Hub at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street.
"That's actually an easy fix. It's all for a great cause," Bergeron said of adjusting his helmet. "The guys are all here. The fans responded to the call. It's the tenth year, so it's pretty amazing, actually. The day is going well. Even though it's raining outside, we're all happy in here."

All proceeds from 'Cuts for a Cause' benefitted the Boston Bruins Foundation and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. This year's event raised $101,000. And since it all began in 2007, the event has raised over $700,000.

"It's always great to have a chance to meet these kids, the ones that deserve the standing ovations," said Bergeron, who took over the event from Shawn Thornton. "And with their courage and everything that they do, they're always smiling."
Fred Toettcher, Rich Shertenlieb, and Jon Wallach from The Sports Hub's 'Toucher and Rich" morning program were the emcees.
Auction winners also received the opportunity for a VIP session prior to the event, during which they were able to mingle with the players and have items autographed.

Bruins forward Tim Schaller went with the near-bald look to match a newly created version of his famous "Timmy Heads."
