Bruins' Murray scratched with groin injury @NHLdotcom

WASHINGTON (AP) -Glen Murray, Boston's leading goal scorer, sat out the Bruins' game against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night with a groin injury.

Murray, who scored twice Sunday against Carolina to raise his season total to 26 goals, participated in Boston's morning skate Tuesday but at that time was ruled questionable to play at night.

He has a five-game point streak, with four goals and two assists in that span.

Left wing Marco Strum also was scratched by Boston. He was hurt when he took a stick to the face Thursday against Buffalo and hasn't played since.
