Bruins' McQuaid to sit again @NHLdotcom
BOSTON -- Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid, who missed Saturday night's game at Chicago, did not take the pregame skate with the club prior to Boston's game with Carolina at TD Garden on Tuesday and sat out for a second consecutive game.

McQuaid has been bothered by neck pain since crashing into the end boards in the third period of last Wednesday's loss to the 'Canes in Raleigh. He practiced with the team Monday and took the morning skate, but was scratched for Tuesday's game.

Rookie Matt Bartkowski again dressed in McQuaid's place as the sixth defenseman.
