KELOWNA, B.C. - Adam Brown was all but perfect in goal for Kelowna, stopping 31 of 32 shots, as the Rockets snapped a five-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins in Western Hockey League action on Saturday night.
Brett Bulmer and Codey Ito scored for injury-ravaged Kelowna (19-20-2), which led 2-0 and 2-1 at the period breaks despite missing nine regulars, including seven to injuries.
The game, the Rockets' first of 2010, followed a 4-3 overtime loss to Chilliwack on New Year's Eve.
Alexander Wiklund replied for Chilliwack (18-18-6), which suffered its first regulation-time loss in seven games.
Lucas Gore made 16 saves for the Bruins, while Brown's 31-save effort earned him his 18th victory of the season.
