Brossoit stops 43 shots to lead the Oil Kings over the Blades 7-2 @NHL

SASKATOON - Laurent Brossoit made 43 saves as the Edmonton Oil Kings crushed the Saskatoon Blades 7-2 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Tyler Maxwell, Michael St. Croix and Klarc Wilson each had a goal and two assists to lead the Oil Kings (24-9-3) offensively. Rhett Rachinski scored a goal and an assist while Griffin Reinhart, Jordan Peddle and Mitchell Moroz chipped in with a single goal apiece.

Ryan Olsen and Michael Burns responded for the Blades (20-15-1), who have dropped eight of their last 10 games.

Adam Todd allowed six goals on 26 shots before being pulled for Alex Moodie, who came on in relief for the final period and allowed one goal on nine shots.

Edmonton went 2-for-4 on the power play as Saskatoon scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
