Brodie's power-play goal lifts Flames against Oilers

The Calgary Flames' TJ Brodie scored a power-play goal early in the second period and Jonas Hiller and Brad Thiessen combined for a 16-save shutout in a win against the Edmonton Oilers at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Max Reinhart and Mark Giordano had assists on Brodie's goal. Hiller and Thiessen made eight saves apiece.

Edmonton was outshot 14-1 in the first period, but goalie Viktor Fasth stopped them all. Fasth finished with 19 saves; Laurent Brossoit stopped all eight shots he faced.
