BRANDON, Man. - Joel Broda and Thomas Frazee scored two goals apiece to lead the Moose Jaw Warriors to a 6-3 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League on Friday night.
Frazee's second goal was scored into an empty net. Jason Bast notched the game-winner 7:49 into the third period and Corey Scott also scored for the Warriors, who evened their record at 2-2-0-0.
Colby Robak, Matt Lowry and Mark Stone, with his first WHL goal, replied for the Wheat Kings, who fell to 2-1-0-0.
Kyle Birch stopped 33 shots for Moose Jaw in his first start since being acquired from the Tri-City Americans, while Brandon netminder Joe Caligiuri made 26 saves.
