Brock Nixon scores shootout winner as Kamloops edges Prince Albert 5-4 @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Centre Brock Nixon's shootout goal gave the Kamloops Blazers a 5-4 WHL victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday night.

Juuso Puustinen, C.J. Stretch, Mike Gauthier and Darcy Huisman scored for the Blazers (15-13-1-1) in regulation time. Justin Bernhardt, with two, Devon LeBlanc and Ryan McDonald replied for the Raiders (10-18-3-2), who led 3-1 late in the second period.

Kamloops goaltender James Priestner stopped 11 shots, while Dustin Butler of the Raiders turned aside 41.
