Brock McGinn may have summoned some superhero-like strength to save the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
The forward made a lunging, goal-line save late in the third period, then scored in the second overtime to give the Hurricanes a 4-3 win against the Washington Capitals that clinched the best-of-7 series Wednesday. McGinn scored at 11:05 when he redirected Justin Williams' pass past Braden Holtby.
