The Carolina Hurricanes have 12 games remaining before the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin, and coach Rod Brind'Amour said his one big concern has already come to fruition.

"We had it last night," Brind'Amour said Wednesday on the "NHL @TheRink" podcast.
The Hurricanes lost 4-2 at the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday, their second straight defeat and third in four games (1-2-1). They would have clinched a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a win.
