Rounding the corner to December, Bridgestone Arena is gearing up to celebrate its 20th Anniversary, as well as one of the busiest months in arena history. During the month of December, and over the span of 31 days, 24 events ranging from Preds games to holiday concerts will take place, welcoming in more than 250,000 fans as diverse as the building's event schedule, proving that Bridgestone Arena keeps improving with age.
After plans were released this summer to continue improvements to the building over the next 10 to 30 years, it became clear that one of the nation's premier sport and music venues has no intention of leaving its 501 Broadway home. As the years pass and the arena's fan-base grows, so do its concerted efforts to take those fans' suggestions into consideration and improve upon the overall guest experience year after year.
Ranked by ESPN this October as the No. 1 professional sports franchise out of 122 other teams for fan relations, affordability and stadium experience, December will serve as a great month for locals and travelers alike to join a growing fan-base and experience Bridgestone's distinct event schedule.

"We are very proud of our ability to host a large number of events in such a short window of time," Senior Vice President of Booking David Kells said.
"Our event schedule is a great showcase of not only the diverse entertainment options that the fans in our community support, but also the capabilities of our staff."
It takes all-hands-on deck to ensure a full schedule is successfully executed. Front office, game-day and food and beverage staff are all preparing for the hundreds of thousands of guests that will be walking through the arena's doors. From the 12 giveaway and promotional nights, to the estimated tens of thousands of concession items guests will purchase and enjoy, we have pulled the numbers going into this busy December (as you can see above).
"We have an incredible staff who sees all of our events as the same - hockey games, concerts, family or awards shows," Nashville Predators President and CEO Sean Henry said. "It's that attitude that our event staff takes, that allows us to continue to grow year after year and into a continuously diverse schedule."
Whether fans are here to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, University of Tennessee basketball take on the University of Gonzaga or Widespread Panic's New Year's Eve celebration, this historic month will host an event for any fan to enjoy.
