Brian Willsie scores in third period as Bulldogs hold off Wolves 3-2 @NHLdotcom

CHICAGO - Brian Willsie scored to lift the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 3-2 win over the Chicago Wolves in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Willsie's power-play goal at 9:28 in the third period helped Hamilton (29-30-7) overcome two straight goals by Chicago.

T.J. Fast opened the scoring in the final minute of the first for Hamilton, and Robert Slaney gave the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead in the third.

Tim Miller and Mike Duco scored two unanswered goals for the Wolves (36-25-5) in the third before Willsie's goal stopped their momentum.

Hamilton goaltender Nathan Lawson made 15 saves before being replaced by Robert Mayer for the final two periods. Mayer stopped 16-of-18 shots.

Eddie Lack stopped 27 shots in Chicago's net.
