What started as a friendly game of knockout between the Calgary Flames turned into afternoon of high-intensity basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters.
And it wasn't a Globetrotter who won this battle. It was Flames goalie Brian Elliott who emerged victorious to the roar of his teammates.
After forward Troy Brouwer secured a victory in a Flames-only game of knockout, the Globetrotters came out to test Calgary's skills on the hardwood.
The Globetrotters were at Amalie Arena for a stop on their 2017 World Tour on Wednesday, and the Flames, fresh off an overtime win in Nashville on Tuesday, will play the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
