The Los Angeles Kings acquired forward Brett Sutter from the Minnesota Wild on Monday for defenseman Scott Sabourin.
Sutter is the son of Kings head coach Darryl Sutter.

Sutter, 28, has four goals and 14 points in 57 games this season for Iowa of the American Hockey League. He has played in 60 NHL games for the Calgary Flames, Carolina Hurricanes and Wild, scoring two goals and 10 points.
Sabourin, 23, has three goals and five points in 28 games this season for Ontario of the AHL. He played three previous seasons for Manchester, scoring a career-high 12 goals and 26 points in the 2013-14 season.
