PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Moose Jaw centre Joel Broda's league-leading 36th goal of the season tied things up in the third, but Brett Connolly scored in overtime to give the Prince George Cougars a 3-2 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Tuesday night.
Ian Duval, who had two points, had the other goal for Moose Jaw (14-25-1-1).
Corey Tyrell and Justin Maylan scored in regulation for the Cougars (15-26-0-1).
Goaltender Joe Caligiuri made 34 saves for the Cougars, while Devan Dubyk blocked 35 in goal for the Warriors. Prince George did not have a power play chance in the game, while Moose Jaw was 1-3 with the man-advantage.
The game was played before an announced crowd of 1,889, the smallest to witness a WHL game at CN Centre. The previous low was 1,923, a Dec. 5, 2008 with the Everett Silvertips providing the opposition.
