Brent Henke scores winner as Hurricanes battle to 3-1 win over Bruins @NHLdotcom

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - For 40 minutes the Lethbridge Hurricanes offence lay dormant.

Despite outshooting the Chilliwack Bruins 15-12 after 40 minutes of play - and 9-2 in the first period - the 'Canes found themselves down 1-0 to the Bruins Wednesday night at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge. But a trio of goals in the final period, including Cam Braes' first of the season, sparked the Hurricanes to their second win in three days as the hosts posted a 3-1 win.

Braes scored 3:04 into the third period on the man advantage before teammate Brent Henke scored what stood up as the game-winner 8:04 into the final period.

Mitch Fadden added an empty-netter with a little over a second remaining to seal the win for the Hurricanes, who improve to 7-3-0-0 on the season.

Randy McNaught supplied the lone goal for the Bruins, who are now 5-3-1-1 with the loss.
