MONTREAL --Montreal Canadiens right wing Brendan Gallagher will miss 2-3 weeks with a lower-body injury, the team announced Tuesday.
Gallagher left a 4-2 loss at the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday in the first period after he got tied up with Jets center Marko Dano and fell awkwardly. He did not play against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.

Gallagher has 18 goals and 35 points in 49 games this season.
Center Lars Eller (lower body) also didn't play on Tuesday, adding to an injury list that includes forwards David Desharnais, Brian Flynn and Daniel Carr, defensemen Nathan Beaulieu, Jeff Petry and Tom Gilbert, and goaltender Carey Price.
