EDMONTON - Brendan Dowd's pair of special teams goals led the way as the Edmonton Oil Kings extended their winning streak to four games with a 5-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Sunday.

Brandon Lockerby scored the game-winner for Edmonton with a rocket from the point on the power play that took a couple strange bounces before ending up behind Raiders goalie Steven Stanford.

Justin Bernhardt opened the scoring for Prince Albert (13-19-0-0), catching Oil King goalie Torrie Jung leaning off the post 9:38 into the first.

Ryan McDonald doubled the Raiders lead on the power play with a wrist shot through a screen 3:42 later.

Two second period goals by Edmonton (12-14-1-3) tied the game 2-2. Tomas Vincour scored on a give-and-go with Mark Pysyk, then Dowd had a short-handed goal with a nifty forehand to backhand move .

Jordan Rowley's blast from the point on a man advantage late in the second gave Prince Albert a 3-2 lead, until Dowd tied it in the third with a power-play goal of his own.

After Lockerby's winner, Craig McCallum added an insurance marker with 4:33 left.

Jung stopped 32 shots in net for Edmonton while Stanford turned aside 22 for the Raiders.
