Breault and Allen win weekly QMJHL awards @NHLdotcom

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - Baie-Comeau Drakkar centre Benjamin Breault was named Quebec Major Junior Hockey League offensive player of the week on Monday.

St. John's Fog Devils goaltender Jake Allen was named defensive player of the week.

Breault scored six goals and added three assists in three victories last week.

Angelo Esposito of Quebec, Francis Pare of Chicoutimi and Mathieu Perreault of Acadie-Bathurst were also considered for the offensive award.

Allen helped the Fog Devils collect three points in two games last week, posting a 1.44 goals-against average and .963 save percentage.

Defenceman Pierre Bergeron of Quebec and goaltenders Ryan Mior of Gatineau and Raffaele D'Orso of Val-d'Or were also considered.
