Brassard scores twice as the Bulls down the Greyhounds 6-5 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. - Austen Brassard scored twice as the Belleville Bulls defeated the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-5 on Thursday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Michael Curtis and Adam Payerl each had a goal and two assists for the Bulls (21-13-0) while Brendan Gaunce and Daniil Zharkov scored the others. Stephen Silas chipped in with three assists.

Brett Findlay led the Greyhounds (18-16-4) with two goals and an assist as Colin Miller, Dylan Staples and David Broll added singles. Michael Schumacher set up three of Sault Ste. Marie's goals.

John Chartrand made 31 saves for the win as Matt Murray turned aside 28 shots in defeat.

Belleville went 1-for-3 on the power play while the Greyhounds went 0-for-5.
