Brandon Kozun scores, adds three assists as Hitmen hammer Pats 7-1 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Brandon Kozun scored and had three assists to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 7-1 win over the Regina Pats in Western Hockey League action Tuesday night.

Kozun's linemates also had a good game as Kyle Bortis scored twice and had an assist while T.J. Galiardi notched a goal and two helpers.

Michael Stone and Brock Nixon each had a goal and an assist for Calgary (43-16-1-3), winners of two straight games.

Paul Postma scored a short-handed goal for the Hitmen, who counted four power-play goals on eight opportunities.

Jordan Eberle scored the lone goal for the Pats (36-20-3-2), who have dropped two straight decisions.

Calgary goalie Dan Spence picked up his 27th win of the season by stopping 17 shots, while Regina counterpart Linden Rowat turned away 29 of 36.
