Brandon Davidson's two points leads Regina Pats past Prince Albert Raiders 4-3

REGINA - Brandon Davidson scored late in the third and added an assist to help the Regina Pats rally for a 4-3 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League on Sunday.

Lane Scheidl had two goals and an assist for Regina (35-24-7), Jordan Weal had three assists and Chandler Stephenson had a goal and an assist.

Mike Winther had a goal and an assist for Prince Albert (20-39-6), and a goal each from Justin Maylan and Mark McNeill.

The two teams swapped a pair of goals in the first two periods to send it to the third tied 2-2.

Early in the third, McNeill struck shorthanded to put the Raiders up 3-2.

But a night after scoring six unanswered goals in the third to steal a victory from Brandon, the Pats once again clawed their way back.

Midway through the period Scheidl tied it up on the power play with his 26th of the season.

Then with just 21 seconds before the buzzer Davidson blasted in a point for the game winner.

Regina went 2-for-7 with the extra man and killed off all three of Prince Albert's power plays.

Adam Beukeboom made 23 saves to earn the win for Regina, while Cole Holowenko stopped 30 shots.
