Brandon Buck scores shorthanded and assists on winner as Storm down Otters 2-1

GUELPH, Ont. - Brandon Buck had a shorthanded goal and assisted on the winner as the Guelph Storm edged the Erie Otters 2-1 in OHL play Friday.

Luke Pither scored the eventual winner at 14:12 of the second period for Guelph (1-1-0).

Zack Torquato netted the lone goal for Erie (1-2-0).

The game featured two penalty shots awarded to the Storm. Both Tyler Melanson (in the first) and Tim Priamo (early in the third) were stopped by Otters goaltender Justin Garay.

Guelph outshot the Otters 33-18 in the game.
