Branden Troock scores twice as Seattle Thunderbirds beat Regina Pats 5-2 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Branden Troock scored twice as the Seattle Thunderbirds defeated the Regina Pats 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Chandler Stephenson scored his 10th and 11th goals of the season to give the Pats a 2-0 lead in the first period before Troock's two goals tied the game entering the third.

Blake Gallimore, Kyle Verdino and Chance Lund all scored to give Seattle (10-11-0) it's third win in a row.

Troock, who missed his entire rookie season after complications from a concussion, now has five goals this season.

Thunderbirds goaltender Calvin Pickard earned the win with 34 saves, while Matt Hewitt stopped 35 shots for Regina (12-10-2).
