Brampton Battalion beat Erie Otters 4-1 @NHLdotcom

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Sam Carrick's power-play goal with under three minutes to go in the third helped the Brampton Battalion double up on the Erie Otters 4-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

After a scoreless opening period, Andrew Yogan opened the scoring 1:57 into the second for Erie (23-22-7).

Shawn Szydlowski added to Erie's lead at 7:21 before Philip Lane found the net twice at 7:45 and 12:03 to tie the game for Brampton (18-21-12).

Cody Hodgson then set up Scott Tanski's eventual game-winner at the 18:41 mark before adding another helper on Carrick's power-play goal late in the third.

The Battalion outshot the Otters 51-25.
