Braes scores two, Hurricanes get four goals in second to beat Rebels

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - The Lethbridge Hurricanes exploded for four second-period goals in a 5-2 Western Hockey League win over the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday.

Cam Braes scored a pair of goals for Lethbridge (20-42-8), while Austin Fyten, Jacob Berglund and Carter Bancks added one each.

Andrej Kudrna and Mathew Dumba scored for Red Deer (39-25-5).

Brandon Anderson made 29 saves for the Hurricanes.

Kraymer Barnstable stopped 14 of 19 shots he faced pulled after the Hurricanes fifth goal. Darcy Kuemper stopped all nine shots he faced in relief.
