Brad Ross leads Winterhawks over Cougars 3-2 in WHL action @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Brad Ross had a goal and two assists to lead the Portland Winterhawks over the Prince George Cougars 3-2 in Western Hockey League play on Sunday night.

Nino Niederreiter and Ryan Johansen both had two-point nights with a goal and assist each.

James Dobrowolski scored both goals on the power play for Prince George (11-51-3).

Prince George was 2-for-10 with the man advantage. Portland (40-23-3) was 0-for-5.

Cougars goalie Hudson Stremmel made 33 saves, while Ian Curtis stopped 50 shots.
