A couple of NASCAR stars took a break from the track to show the NHL some love.

Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex Jr. were on the scene with the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning, respectively. The two will be seen later this month competing at the Daytona 500, which takes place on February 26.

Keselowski did a Q & A with fans while taking over the Red Wings Twitter account, answering questions that varied from his feelings on potatoes (he likes them mashed) and if the Red Wings will make the playoffs (a resounding yes).

Keselowski also took in the Red Wings game against the Columbus Blue Jackets and got to ride the zamboni during intermission.

In Tampa, the Lightning presented a No. 78 jersey to Truex Jr. before their game against the Los Angeles Kings at Amalie Arena.

"I've been a big hockey fan for a while now," said Truex Jr., who is a Philadelphia Flyers fan from Trenton, N.J. "I try to catch quite a few games."

Truex, who is the Lightning's social media captain for the game, swapped helmets with Lightning defenseman Jason Garrison.
