Brace scores goal and assist to lead the Majors past the Rangers 3-2 @NHL

KITCHENER, Ont. - The Mississauga St. Michaels Majors ended the Kitchener Rangers nine-game home ice winning streak with a 3-2 win on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Riley Brace had a goal and an assist for the Majors (13-11-4), while Brett Foy and Mika Partanen added the other goals.

Michael Catennaci and Zach Lorentz scored for Kitchener (18-8-1).

JP Anderson turned aside 23 shots in the win, while John Gibson stopped 32 shots in defeat.

The Majors were 1-for-4 on the power play as the Rangers failed to score on their only opportunity with the man advantage.
