Bowman scores twice as Chiefs beat Hurricanes in Game 1 of WHL final @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Drayson Bowman scored twice as the Spokane Chiefs beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-1 in Game 1 of the Western Hockey League final.

Judd Blackwater and Tyler Johnson added goals for the Chiefs who took an early lead in the series. Adam Chorneyko scored the only goal for Lethbridge. Chiefs' goalie Dustin Tokarski stopped 13 shots for the win while at the other end Juha Metsola made 21 saves.

The series continues Saturday in Spokane.
