Bergeron, who was hit in the face by Pastrnak's deflected shot during the third period of a 4-1 win at the New York Islanders on Wednesday, returned to the game but coach Jim Montgomery said he would need X-rays. The Bruins did not hold a morning skate Thursday, so Bergeron's status will be updated close to game time. … Kreider is expected to return after missing three games with an upper-body injury; to make room, Blais likely would likely be scratched. ...
