OSHAWA, Ont. - Captain Boone Jenner scored twice and added an assist, leading the Oshawa Generals to a 5-1 win over the Belleville Bulls in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.
Josh Graves, Cody Payne and Emerson Clark also scored for the Generals.
Belleville's Austen Brassard broke Dan Altshuller's shutout bid, scoring a power-play goal with 2:36 remaining. The Bulls failed to score on their previous 12 power-play attempts.
Altshuller made 28 saves in the game, which saw the Generals improve to 7-6-2 and move two points up on the 7-6-0 Bulls in the OHL's East Division.
Belleville's John Chartrand allowed three goals on 13 shots in the first period, and was then pulled in favour of Charlie Graham, who stopped 20 of 22 over the final two periods.
Scott Sabourin, just back from a 12-game suspension, had two assists for the Generals.
Oshawa was 0-for-6 on the power play.
