Bochek, Brodie lead the way as Saginaw downs Sault Ste. Marie 5-2

SAGINAW, Mich. - Kyle Bochek scored twice and T. J. Brodie had a goal and an assist to help the Saginaw Spirit to their second win in as many nights, a 5-2 triumph over the Saule Ste. Marie Greyhounds in OHL play Saturday night.

Bochek opened the scoring for Saginaw (28-17-0-3) in the first period, only to see Kyle DeCoste answer for Sault Ste. Marie (16-30-2-1).

Brodie put the Spirit up for good late in the first and Saginaw added to the lead on goals by Jack Combs and Bochek to lead 4-1 after two periods.

James Livingston sliced the lead in half for the Greyhounds in the final period but Daniel Pachis scored his first goal of the year to cap the scoring for the Spirit.

Anthony Peters won for the third time since being acquired from Kingston with 29 saves for Saginaw.
