Bobkov turns away 37 shots to lead the Frontenacs over the IceDogs 3-2 @NHL

ST CATHARINES, Ont. - Igor Bobkov made 37 stops as the Kingston Frontenacs snapped a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Niagara IceDogs in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday night.

Alex Gudbranson, Cody Alcock and Kyler Nixon scored for Kingston (8-19-4).

Steven Shipley and Luke Mercer replied for Niagara (17-12-3).

Chris Festarini turned aside 34 shots in the loss for the IceDogs.

Niagara, who entered the contest with the league's best power play, went 0-for-3 with the man-advantage. The Frontenacs were 0-for-2.

The IceDogs were playing without eight regulars including goaltender Mark Visentin, defenceman Dougie Hamilton, and forwards Freddie Hamilton and Ryan Strome who are all attending World Junior Selection Camp in Calgary.
