Bobkov makes 49 saves to lead the Frontenacs over the Knights 4-1 @NHLdotcom

LONDON, Ont. - Igor Bobkov stopped 49 of 50 shots, earning first star of the game, as his Kingston Frontenacs defeated the host London Knights 4-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Warren Steele and Kyler Nixon had a goal and an assist each for the Frontenacs (12-25-4) while Cody Alcock and Jean Dupuy added single goals.

Tommy Hughes scored the lone goal for the Knights (30-9-1) as they had their winning streak stopped at five games.

Jake Patterson made 18 saves in defeat.

Kingston went 1 for 3 on the power play while London failed to score on their two chances with the man advantage.
