Blum's three-point game eases Vancouver to 4-1 victory over Lethbridge @NHLdotcom

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Three points from Jonathan Blum was all the Vancouver Giants needed to topple the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-1 Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Blum scored the winner on a first-period power play as the Giants (10-0-0-3) opened up a 3-0 lead by the middle of the second period and shut the door from there, although Lethbridge fired 39 shots at goalie Jamie Tucker. Juha Metsola made 13 saves for the Hurricanes (8-5-0-0).

Craig Cunningham, James Wright and Andrej Kudrna also scored for Vancouver, while Mitch Versteeg had the lone goal for Lethbridge.
