Remember Will Bartold?
He's the 10-year-old diehard Blues fan who has had a rough go over the last few months as he battles osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that occurs primarily in children.
The Blues are doing their part to make that battle a little easier. Last summer, just before his surgery, Louie visited him in the hospital to cheer him up. In September, Alexander Steen and Paul Stastny brought him onto the ice at the annual Blues Alumni Fantasy Camp, where he was named an honorary Blues Alumnus for the day.
And just last week, several of the Blues' wives and girlfriends had another surprise for him - one he'll be reminded of every single day before he goes to bed.

"We came over this morning to re-do Will's room with Special Spaces," said Nicole Brodziak, wife of Blues forward Kyle Brodziak. "We started with a blank canvas, and clearly he's a huge Blues fan, so it was fun to paint the walls the colors he likes. His bedding is blue, hockey sticks are everywhere. It's been so much fun and so rewarding."
Special Spaces is a charitable organization that transforms bedrooms for children battling life-threatening illnesses with the hope of making them more comfortable at home. The St. Louis chapter of Special Spaces recently received a grant from the Blues for Kids Foundation and put that money towards a renovation for Will.
Work started at 8 a.m., when Will's room was practically empty. The furniture was moved out and nothing remained except for a rather boring shade of brown paint on the walls. By 5 p.m., when Will returned home with his family from a wedding they were attending, his room was completely changed. The walls were now a neutral shade of gray and adorned with Blues canvases, hockey sticks, a full-size Vladimir Tarasenko fathead and the Blues Alumni jersey he received back in September.
The nightstands were loaded with Blues figurines, bobbleheads, and 50th anniversary pucks along with signed photos from Hall of Famers like Bernie Federko.
And then, just when Will thought all the surprises were done, there was Kyle Brodziak dropping by to check out his new digs and present him with a Winter Classic jersey, which will be autographed soon by the entire team.
"I didn't know it was going to be anything like this," Will said. "I thought maybe there would be a couple posters, but nothing like this. The sticks, the anniversary pucks, it's so much stuff that I didn't even know existed… and I know a lot of stuff!
"It was definitely a cool day."
