ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis Blues winger David Perron hasn't ruled himself out for the rest of the season despite missing his 51st straight game Friday night.
Perron, who sustained a concussion Nov. 4 against San Jose, passed an initial test a month ago and has been doing light bike riding and weightlifting but has not fully recovered.
Perron accompanied the Blues to western Canada and stayed behind in Vancouver to see Dr. Don Grant, a chiropractor who specializes in concussions. A number of NHL players, including teammate Andy McDonald, visited Dr. Grant and came away with positive results.
Perron received treatment Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will stay in Vancouver for at least a week.
Perron has five goals and seven points in 10 games this season.
