Blues' Tarasenko (illness) scratched against Wild

by Louie Korac

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Blues right wing Vladimir Tarasenko was scratched Thursday against the Minnesota Wild because of illness.

Tarasenko leads the Blues with 22 goals and 39 points in 38 games; he is second in the NHL in goals behind the Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars (23). Scottie Upshall, who was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, is in the Blues lineup.

Tarasenko missed his only other game this season the previous time these teams played, on Oct. 31 here because of a knee injury.
