Forward Scottie Upshall signed a one-year contract with the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday.
Upshall, 32, could have become an unrestricted free agent July 1.
Upshall had six goals and eight assists in 70 games this season, his first with St. Louis, and had one goal and two assists in 17 Stanley Cup Playoff games. The Blues lost to the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Final in six games.

In 13 NHL seasons with the Blues, Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Columbus Blue Jackets and Florida Panthers, Upshall has 248 points in 623 games.
