Blues' Oshie undergoes appendectomy surgery @NHLdotcom
St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced that forward T.J. Oshie underwent surgery Saturday morning to remove his appendix.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Michael Brunt of Barnes Jewish Hospital. Oshie is expected to miss approximately two weeks.

The 22-year-old, a first-round pick by the Blues in 2005, has 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points in eight games this season, and played 17:33 in the Blues' 3-1 win over Minnesota on Friday. Oshie had 14 goals and 39 points in 57 games as a rookie in 2008-09.
