Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has named Dave Taylor
as Director of Player Personnel.

Taylor comes from the Dallas Stars
, where he served three seasons as their Director of Player Personnel. He came to Dallas in 2007 after spending 30 years with the Los Angeles Kings
organization as a player and member of the front office.
Taylor served as Director of Amateur Development for the Kings in 2006-07 after completing nine seasons from 1997-2006 as the club's General Manager. Compiling a record of 290-261-105, Taylor is the winningest GM in Kings' history. In his final year as General Manager in 2005-06, the Kings equaled a franchise record in home wins (26). His teams earned 90-plus points for three-straight seasons from 1999-2002 for the first time in franchise history.
Under Taylor's leadership, the Kings succeeded at the draft table selecting Anze Kopitar
