The St. Louis Blues
saw a 2-0 third-period lead turn into a 3-2 overtime loss at Chicago on Monday. They'll try to exact a measure of revenge when the Blackhawks come to Scottrade Center for one of the five games on Friday's NHL schedule.
The Blues have had three days off since Monday's loss, while the Blackhawks arrive for the 8 p.m. ET game off a 2-1 shootout victory against Vancouver on Wednesday.
The action starts at 7 p.m. ET when Columbus hosts Calgary. The Flames come to town after a 4-2 loss at Detroit on Thursday, while the Jackets had a day off after a 3-1 victory against Anaheim on Wednesday.
A half-hour later, Buffalo tries to avoid a fifth consecutive home loss when Ottawa comes to the HSBC Arena. Both of the Sabres' wins have come on the road, including a 4-1 victory at Atlanta on Wednesday. The Senators have been off since a 4-3 loss at Montreal on Saturday.
Also at 7:30, the Thrashers will try to rebound when they host Tampa Bay. The Lightning lost 3-2 in overtime to the New York Islanders
Speaking of revenge -- the Vancouver Canucks
will be looking for some when the Minnesota Wild
come to Rogers Arena for a 10 p.m. ET start. The Wild whacked the Canucks 6-2 at the Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday.
